It was the perfect weather for the Chief today :). It was my second time hiking the Chief and let me just say, I will never get bored of it. It took us an hour to get to the 2nd peak. I prefer the Chief over the Grouse Grind because the former seems more interesting with the chains and ladders one must climb to reach the top. Also, there are 3 different peaks for the Chief and the view is breathtaking. I love having picnics and tanning at the top of the Chief. However, the Chief does not have a gondola to take you back down like the Grouse Grind does. But, after some rest at the top, the way back down is not too bad.
